Some people call it the dark night of the soul, others simply depression.
There are people who would tell you that you hit an existential crisis, while others will advise you to just stop reading Nietzsche.
If you look around, you might tell yourself others have it worse than you.
At the same time you know this is a big fat fallacy.
But as much as you are aware that you should not compare your 5th step to other people’s 11th step, deep inside you there is a war that’s going on.
A fight with all the entities that ever tapped you on your shoulder.
This internal conflict seems to polish you in such a way until you eventually won’t recognize yourself anymore. Or at least that’s how it feels now.
And although from time to time, you still have your moments of clarity, they are becoming more and more rare.
But these are the moments when you tell yourself that the best thing you can do is to continue to write about these feelings of yours and document each and every thought.
